First and foremost, we would like to thank you for your interest in sponsoring our event.
About our organisation – Northern Tamil Association (NTA – UK) was originally formed in 1986 and has grown over the last 30 years. The association has got a constitution and objectives which is primarily to promote the language and culture of people of Tamil origin from Srilanka, India, Singapore and Malaysia.
We had a very successful Tamil New Year event on 31st March 2018 at Plaza Hall, Stockport. The Tamil New year event was a huge hit with Padmashree K S Chitra and her band performing to an audience of 900 people.
The next event planned is NTA’s Deepavali celebration at Wythenshawe Forum Hall, Manchester on 27th October 2018. The hall capacity is 720 and we are expecting a sell-out. The program starts at 12 noon and will finish by 20:30 hours.
The tickets are very nominally priced to accommodate more people. Advertisements are through flyers, newsletters, emails from our database, our website (https://www.northerntamilassociation.org.uk/) , Social media promos and through our committee members from different parts of UK. This year we are planning to advertise through British Tamil Radio and Thamarai (London Based Tamil Website)
Our Organisation is a non-profit charity registered organisation. If any profit made it would be used towards deserving charities in UK, Srilanka and India.
